Two seven story office buildings for a technology concern will face the I-75 interchange where 125,000 cars a day pass by. The location of the project is very desirable, however noise is a problem so the domain is flanked by twin “mist” fountains to generate white noise and help clean the air. The tower blocks are designed with a double curtain wall to reduce noise infiltration and dramatically increase energy efficiency. Simple, rectilinear, open floor plates will be easily redemised to meet the users constantly changing “work group” needs. The main entry, an atrium between the two blocks, is bridged at two upper levels. Two exterior entries cross the ponds and allow for direct access by primary work groups. The landscaped lobby level will contain several small retail outlets such as a coffee shop and a news stand. Landscaped parking surrounds the development and creates its own retention.
